Carol Walters, CEO of the Alzheimer's Society London and Middlesex (ASLM), Wendy Thompson, ASLM Board Member and Principal with Right Brain Teams, and their spouses Charlie and Ian have teamed up to conquer one of the Natural Wonders of the World, Mt. Kilimanjaro!
Carol and Wendy have both had a parent diagnosed with dementia and are challenging themselves, and you, to help overcome this disease.
They will begin their ascent on October 19th and will climb just under 20,000 feet during their 8 day journey.
The team has set a goal of $10,000, one dollar for every 2 feet of the ascent.
All donations will be directed to local programs and services offered by the ASLM, supporting the various journeys that people living with dementia and their care partners are on.
